Hello everyone ,
In behalf of my friend , I would like to ask you a question.
But first of all let me tell you a bit background of the story.
My friend was married in 2010. She finished danish language after just 2 years while working at the same time for 37 hrs a week.
But unfortunately, they divorce first quarter of 2013 and my friend left Aarhus and returned to her country.
Just this year 2014, she came back to Denmark and got married with a danish man living in Aalborg. And because she knew that no need for her to take the danish language course, she decided to enroll in grundforløb with SU.
She is now asking me, about the Integration Contract, because until now =almost 6 months= she doesnt receive the said documents from the kommune. I thought the kommune will send letter about signing the integration contract after she received her Residence Permit.
Or am I correct, that NO NEED for my friend to sign a new integration contract because she already finished the danish language.?
Hope you could help me .
Thanks in advance...
Maria

Re: Integrationkontrakt
I think she does need to sign the contract actually. But if she dont want anything from the municipality, frankly why worry about it? Its up to them to present her with it and ask her to sign.

Youre right, I also thought that it is the responsibility of the kommune to offer the integration contract.
But you think, based on the above background, is she in the right track to integrate herself?
She is worried because she told me that in applying for a permanent residency, she needs to sign the so called medbborgskaberklæring from the kommune also.
mvh
