Question regarding deposit(Økonomisk sikkerhed)

Hi,

I am from a non-EU country, and me and my husband(Danish) got married in 2011, where we sat 50000DKK deposit.
I've passed Danish exams and such, so there's only 10000DKK left.

However, we forgot to apply for extension of the guarantee, which expired in late 2022..

My resident permit expires in 2025, and I will need to renew it, since I wont be qualified enough to apply for the permanent stay yet..

Do we need to set in new deposit before we apply for extension for Family Reunification ?
Will it be 50000DKK again or 10000DKK ? Or can we just apply for it?
I read about release of the guarantee, but I am not 100% sure about this sentence from Ny i Danmark :

"The demand guarantee can also be released once it has been posted for a total period of 10 years from the start date of the original guarantee and the guarantee has not expired yet."

Since it in 2022 was more than 10 years since you provided the deposit, you do and did not need to renew, nor did you need to extend it.

The law states that when the deposit has been made more than 10 years ago, and the municipality has been reimbursed any debt that may have arisen, you can apply to the municipality to inform the bank that they can release the deposit. So, just in case the bank is not aware, you should bring the formalities in order.
