You may be able to use the 'Positivliste' when and if you apply for family reunification:
https://nyidanmark.dk/en-GB/Applying/Wo ... 0education

It is updated twice a year, usually, but medical degrees and jobs in that field will probably always be on it.

The Positive list has nothing whatsoever to do with your EU-status.

Read the link, the info is there. Plus, since you are neither authorised nor married yet, any answer would be hypothetical.

Why worry about the Family Court? If you do not contest the divorce, you do not go to court at all, everything is handled administratively. Just say yes to the divorce when asked.

I don’t know who ‘they’ are, and there is no court in Denmark that makes you swear any oaths whatsoever, so I am not sure what you ate referring to.

If you are separated by a court decision you can make your life easier by asking ‘Familieretshuset’ for a final divorce. Since your wife clearly does not want to be married to you, she ought not to object.

It will not affect your residence right. Neither your wife, nor ‘they’ can do anything about your right to stay under EU-rules.

When you residence is based on EU-rules, no, you do not. 5 years unbroken residence as a self-supporting and law abiding citizen is enough.

BUT if you want to obtain Danish citizenship, you must (as the rules are now) pass PD3 or under certain conditions minimum PD2.

You must stay in Denmark at least 180 days in a year in order to keep your address registered in Denmark.

If you don’t do that you can go abroad for up to 2 years on a permanent residence card given under the EU laws and then come back and register your address in Denmark.

But if you intend to stay abroad for more than 2 years then you must apply for an exception before leaving Denmark, otherwise your permanent residence card will be revoked.

An exemption can only be granted for a limited time and only in case your absence from Denmark can be well explained.

There are two set of rules to consider: Folkeregister (where you register your address) and the EU-rules.

According to Folkeregisterloven "If you are resident in Denmark and move abroad for more than 6 months, before you leave the country you must make sure to register the departure. You must report the departure to the municipality in which you live."

Thus, if you do leave Denmark for a whole year, you will have to inform the municipality in which you live. In order to re-register you must have the intention to stay at least 93 days (more than three months), prove that you rented/bought a place where a person can be resident, and it will be checked whether you actually do stay that long.

To answer the question about whether you may keep your EU-residence while living 5 years in your home country and only pop to Denmark once in a while: NO, that will not be possible.

Be aware that your travels may be subject to investigation.
