family reunification question and current visa

Hey everyone!

I currently have a establishment card, and its about 4 months until my visa expires, however I am getting married soon with my danish wife and planning on applying for Family reunification. I have 2 questions:
1) Making the application before my visa expires will affect the state of my current visa?
2) I can already speak Danish, so I thought I could take the Danish tests in advance so I wouldnt have to pay such a big money deposit, is that possible, or I have to pay the big amount and then take the tests to get the money back?

An application for family reunification will not affect your current residence permit.

As for 'pre'-reduction I do not know the answer.

You cannot reduce the amount beforehand. You'll be asked to pay the full amount and later, apply for a reduction.
