Hi i'm Liva.
I hope you will be able to help me, cause this situation is stressing me like crazy.
Two years ago i got married, turns out didn't worked at all, and his hobby was just to make me cry and hurt me emotionally with every possible insults every day.
During that period, i've met someone who became my closest friend, and now my boyfriend, we would love to get married but:
I haven't got a divorce yet with my current husband. As i dont know how long it takes for the procedure of a divorce when both parties request so, without prior separation. Yes he is okay to have a divorce.
Does anyone know how long it can take? And maybe how to process to not be kicked out as i have a full time job here and would love to have the chance of being and marrying the man i'm with.
The process should be:
Get a divorce, apply for marriage with my boyfriend and get married. But something tell me that it is never as simple as that. As i know that during the family reunification paper process, you are generally not allow to work, and i have a job full time, so its impossible for me to not work for 10 months.
My residence permit expire in May 2018 the one that link me to my current husband as family reunification and i would really like and need to get these fixed before.
If you can help me with these, i would be so grateful if any of you could bring me some answers.
Liva

Divorce on mutual petition can be very quick, maybe just a few weeks.
BUT then divorce authority will send notice to the Immigration Service, which will then contact you to ask whether there is any reason they should NOT revoke your permit. This can take weeks, and usually does, but may in your case be fast, when they notice your permit is about to expire.
In any case, there should be time to get married and apply for a new permit.
Have you been working since you came to DK? In that case, you might be able to get a permit based on your job:

Re: Divorce, re-marriage, paperwork in Denmark
Hi thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me.
Well i have been working in denmark since i came, but my first job was part time one. And then i did find a full time job since the 6th of February 2017, so only one year ago.
I called the immigration and this is what they suggested to me.
First get a divorce.
The immediately after getting the divorce apply for a SG4 form under the ground of special circustances as its a divorce, this will / might allow me to still be able to work while waiting for an answer as the process takes 7 months.
while doing this process apply for marriage and then for family reunification with my boyfriend.
Cause in general when you do the family reunification paper you are not allow to work while waiting, but with the SG4 it should allow you to continue your normal life, and they say that its okay to have two application of me in their system.
I have an appointment with a lawyer tomorrow just to make sure that every thing is okay so that i can process to the divorce and process to this SG4 form as soon as possible.
