The deadlines might be a bit off. Udlændingestyrelsen had them increased and this will possibility affect Udlændingenævnet. Rejected asylum seeker applications go to directly to them.

Its been 7 and a half month i did not get answer from UE. Can u expect answer in this month?

Udlændingestyrelsen is not able to accomplish the goals they have set, so cases are taking more time to be completed.

Ask your partner to login to nyidanmark and see what happens to your case. If it's still there it means it has not been closed, so it is still in progress. If it's not there then it's a bad sign.

Thank you for the answer. My case is in appeal so we cannot see it on nyidenmark from the start

Ahhh, ok. In this case you can call Udlændingenævnet. Udlændingestyrelsen does not have your case anymore.

It should take some time. That's normal. Unfortunately waiting is the key.

My mother lives in Denmark and has a temporary Residence ( Married to a Danish guy). She wants to apply for family reunification for my 2 brothers (ages 19 and 25). Is it possible in any way? I know it's possible if kids are under 16, but I heard about special cases for that.

NB: my brothers are already there in Denmark, after getting a Schengen Visa.

So what do you suggest?

It will not be possible. They are adults and not dependent on her.

As mentioned, that's not possible.

For Denmark you are both adults completely independent from your mother. Your way to get into the country will be just like it was for her: either by studies, marriage or job.
