Family Reunification under EU law
Re: Family Reunification under EU law
If she has been in Europe for more than 90 days, the answer is no. She can't travel around Schengen states without a residence card.

Thank you, skaanebo! That's too bad. So there's no renewing the visa free period without leaving the Schengen area first?

Hello fundiver199
Thanks for your posts. They were really helpful. I am married to a Danish citizen and we live in Denmark right now. We are planning to come to Sweden next month as we bought an apartment. I was few comments about that we can apply with both rules (Swedish and EU).
1. I was wondering that should I submit both applications at the same time? or should I submit EU application 1st and then submit the application with Swedish rules? (My Danish resident permit is expiring on 17th of Match 2017)
2. Do I need to have the blue card to submit the EU application? or can I get any health insurance from Denmark? and How long it should be valid for ?
Thanks

Could you perhaps ask your spouse to together with you read the guide, which you find here, as well as check the FAQ to which there is link there? Surely your spouse is also interested in learning what you both should do:
