Hi experts.
I found this on http://uibm.dk/
"Prøve i Dansk 2
When I translate it to English on google translate just to confirm I have understood it correctly it shows as follows:
"Prøve i Dansk 2
Danish Test 2
For some applicants will be sufficient to pass the Danish Test 2 or another Danish sample, as shown in Annex 3.b. to the circular letter. The requirements are that the applicant, in the run up to the bill being tabled, has been self-sufficient for at least 8 ½ years out of the last 9 years and has been completely self-supporting within the past year.
if google has translated it correctly that passing Prøve i Danske 2 is enough for people who have been self supporting for all 9 years then I have quick question.
Can a person like me who has been on A-kasse support for 2 years of 9 years but not on kontanthjælp before applying for citizenship, take advantage of this rule?
At jobnet they tell that A-Kasse is not considered as public help.
I gave danske i prøve 3 test today. But I am not sure if i am going to pass. And, if fail, then I want to try my luck in Danske i prøve 2 exam as I feel it might be easier to pass.
Experts, request you to clear my doubt, please.
Regards
Citizenship and danish language requirement.

Re: Citizenship and danish language requirement.
A-kasse support is considered self-support. A-kasse is a kind of insurance, so in essence what you get from it is money you paid to it while you were employed.
