I think they will respond as soon as they get the letter. From my little understanding, when a case is open, it has to be completely decided before closing. Don't think they will put it under the pile again to start afresh. I also submitted my application in Nov 2017. But your wife needs an address ...

But in my thought, am I not supposed to get a letter if they didn't issue me a residence card or if my case is complicated am to know by telephone enquiries. Rather than leave me in a blank page.

OK, thanks skanebo. think I will just go straight to the tax office. Do I need any other document to tender other than the work contract? Like a copy of the OD2 form, I have photocopy of all the document I submitted plus this confirmation of reciept.
