Hello
when you apply for sepration does my soon to be ex wife being on a-kasse counts as employed? if it is considered self-sufficient would they revoke my resident card since she is not student or worker?
regards
a-KASSE
Re: a-KASSE
we applied for sepration but not divorce, the stat administration granted it, but the letter also says notified the immigration. why they do that?
Re: a-KASSE
Does it have any implications? I statisfy the 3 year rule

Re: a-KASSE
No. The Immigration Service will check your file and see that you have EU-residence, and I think that will be all. It may be that the State Administration - who is the responsible authority - will check your status to see whether you fulfill the conditions for retaining residence right. Since it is not the same staff members who handle separation and divorce, and EU-residence, the State Administration does not necessarily 'know' that you do. Or it will come up, when you apply for your permanent card.
