If you receive a letter with such a question, of course you should answer. If you don’t they would revoke your permit.

And your answer would be that you have lived so and so long in Denmark, and are supporting yourself. Do what you can to find a job, though.

while on akasse can i say i am supporting myself? You said, do what you can to find job, does that mean akasse effect revoke of residence card? Also the reason I am on akasse is to try to find relevant my area rather do odd jobs.finally what happens if you just made a startup but haven’t started making money but using funding to pay bills

Yes, you can, but A-kasse doesn't last forever, as I suppose you well know.

In my opinion it is better to grab any old job, than eating up your two years maximum right. Plus it will somehow give you a net-work, which again will increase your chances of finding a relevant job. In DK mostly people find a job on basis of knowing somebody who knows somebody who needs exactly that person. Look at your odd job as your show-case, where you exhibit your willingness, your good people skills etc.

As self-employed you will be extremely vulnerable, because you will need to be self-employed for at least three years AND show that you for two best out of the latest 5 years have had an income of more than 540.000 DKK, before you can get money from an A-kasse (and of course you will have to pay to be member for at least the latest one year).

Hi
I got it just want to know if being on akasse while looking for white collar job doesn’t impact there decision to revoke resident card. Yup I am looking for job and thinking to do some internship or least part time.

As of yet, it doesn't.
