Airport Immigration Control

Indlæg af cayennepepper » 02.06.2018 15:39:10

Hello everyone!

I did a really bad decision last year by staying here after my Au pair application from Norway has been denied for renewal.

I lived here with my danish boyfriend but right now we are planning to go back to my home country and just stay there since rules here in Denmark tends to be more and more hard to fulfill for the both of us.

There is only one thing that really bothers me or rather scares me a lot because it will be the first time that I will be doing it,

Do you guys have any idea on what airport is the safest way going to the Philippines?

What is the worst scenario if ever someone stop me?

Are they going to detain me?

Will my danish boyfriend be punish because he helped me while Im staying here illegally?

Is there any other way that I can leave Denmark without problem if I will contact the Immigration now?

It is okay for me if they will punish me by banning me to schengen but I just want to kmow if I will be put in jail or a massive questioning since I am really an introvert and I tend to be nervous around people.

I hope someone can share something.

Thank you.

According to the Aliens Act § 59/ 1/ 2, you may be fined or in the worst case scenario punished with prison for up to 6 months. The last is very rare, and mostly applied to repeat offenders, so don’t worry all that much.

Your boyfriend risks even harder sanctions. It would therefore be wise of you to seek legal advice from at the very least one of the free legal aid offices in Denmark, or from an attorney BEFORE you attempt to leave.

There is no airport within Schengen where you will NOT be confronted with questions about your illegal stay.

My guess is that the safest way will be to go to the police with your attorney, come clean about everything and solemnly promise to leave. In that way you may get away with a fine and an escort to the airport so the police Can make sure that you actually are leaving Denmark.
