Taglejlighed or Kælderlejlighed same address as the house?
Taglejlighed or Kælderlejlighed same address as the house?
Hej everyone,
Thanks for all the good work people here are doing, it has been really helpful.
My question is if I rent a taglejlighed or a kælderlejlighed with my own seperate entrance from the house, what will my address look like? Do I share the exact same address as the owner of the house or do I get some sort of C/O address?
Hope I made myself clear on the issue & Thanks in advance.

You will have to ask at Borgerservice about the specific address.

Thank you Skannebo, since it's weekend and borgerserivce is not open, I'll go there on Monday then.
But out of curiosity, what should the address generally be like? Mostly the same as the house or not? I've been asking several friends (all Danes) and some say it's a C/O address, some say it's the same and it's not allowed to just squeeze out another address in your house (obviously).
I would like some sort of insights before going to borgerservice, any input is appreciated.

i think : if u have cpr no, is the same adress, if no cpr no is c/o adress

It should be a separate address from other parts of the building if you intend to use it to gain a residence permit.
So it could be written 11A or 11B or it could be written 11 st. or 11 kl.
But if both places are written the same, say simply 11, you would be c/o and that won’t work.

Thanks, skannebo. This rises my doubts: how does US check if your residence is independent (Selvstændig)?skaanebo skrev: ↑04.11.2017 11:28:47It should be a separate address from other parts of the building if you intend to use it to gain a residence permit.

For instance, if we live in a kælderlejlighed that has a separate entrance, ketchen and everything but the address is the same as the owner of the house. Theoretically it should fit the requirements listed on nyidanmark.dk, but if the US checks our cpr registry, it gonna say my name and other family members of the house. So to the casework, does this mean an automatic rejection or do they look more into how it is the situation we live? Maybe they also investigate in other ways such as call the applicant (or sponsor) or the owner of the house? or maybe just visit our residence to investigate?
Sorry I've got a lot of questions in my mind and my phrasing is not the best. If it's hard to understand, let me know. PÅ forhånd Tak!

It’s an issue for Borgerservice/Folkeregistret if a building is changed into two or more residencies. Every separate entity should have its separate address.
