skaanebo skrev:Yes, you can max stay 90 days for every period of 180 days.

You can apply for a residence permit either outside of Denmark or while visiting Denmark while here legally (max 90 days if on a visa or visa free).
we have found another place to stay, can you guys help us evaluate if it lives up to the standards by US:
imagine a house that when you open the main door, on the left it's ground floor and on the right it's a staircase leading to the 1st floor. The landlord lives downstairs and we will be living upstairs. Even though we share the same main entrance, the landlord has another door for the whole downstairs to their area, but there is no door upstairs, just the stairs.
I hope my description does not get you dizzy  anyway, please give us some advise on this place and let me know if my description is still confusing

No, you need 2 different entrances, 2 house doors (if you wish to share and not just have your own place with its own door).

It means you need to have your own front door. A house with at least two separate entrances. A house which is clearly divided.
